SUDAH Book

The book Sudah is an ode to heritage, family, and memory. In this rich and layered work, the family stories of the Moluccan Patty family are woven together with art, history and—above all—cooking. At the kitchen table, six sisters prepare their mother’s recipes, such as babi ketjap and papeda, while they talk about their childhood in New Guinea, the journey to the Netherlands, and the quiet pursuit of integration.
